Sustainable Know-how for adult Inclusion

and Lifelong Learning in the repair Sector

Project background

Project co-financed by the European Union as part of the European ERASMUS + programme in the field of adult education.

The repair sector is a testing ground for developing and strengthening technical skills and cross-disciplinary skills, formal skills and informal skills. How can these skills be put to good use and enhanced as part of a lifelong learning pathway in favour of an ecological and digital transition with a view to social inclusion?

Project aims

The project aims to develop and enhance cross-disciplinary and technical skills, both formal and informal, during activities dedicated to the target groups (learning activities in particular) with the aim of increasing the employability of these groups in the repair sector or any other sector.

  • This is made possible in particular by the creation of a skills passport tool which is tested during the learning activity. Part of this tool is digital, which encourages the target groups to make the transition to digital practices.
  • The partner organisations carry out an on-the-spot assessment of their beneficiaries in order to establish an overview of their profiles and skills and to improve their knowledge of these groups.
  • This overview feeds into a toolkit that brings together various tools to help them prepare and run training courses for their beneficiaries.
  • This toolkit is intended for partners and any project leader/experimental site manager.
Implementation
Our aim is to encourage the decompartmentalisation of everyone’s practices by proposing a multi-partner approach, involving places for experimentation TETRIS (FR) and KUNST-STOFFE (GER), training organisations CENTOFORM (IT) and IRFEDD (FR) and a digital engineering company EDUSCOPI (SP).

The cross-disciplinary and multi-disciplinary nature of the partnership means that it is possible to develop a highly integrated and decompartmentalised approach to the issue of skills in the repair sector in relation to the challenges of social inclusion and ecological transition. Exchanges of experience and good practice throughout the project are helping to develop a common approach to the enhancement of skills and their use to promote adult education and greater employability, particularly in the repair sector.
