Green skills are the skills of the future<\/h5>\n

Europe’s transition to a climate-neutral economy will not happen in conference rooms \u2014 it will happen in local communities, living labs labs and innovation hubs. But behind every thriving local Green Lab, there is a person who makes things happen: someone who brings citizens, entrepreneurs and organisations together around sustainability. That person is the Green Innovation Manager<\/strong>. <\/p>\n

To support this emerging profession, the GREEN LABS project<\/a> <\/strong>\u2014 co-funded by the European Union through the Erasmus+ programme<\/strong> \u2014 has designed a complete training programme to prepare the facilitators and coordinators of local Green Labs. After a successful pilot delivery in the first half of 2026, the course is now available online<\/strong>, free to use for self-learning and ready to be picked up by trainers across European countries.<\/p>\n

What is the Green Innovation Manager training?<\/h5>\n

This training course is designed for facilitators and coordinators of local Green Labs<\/strong>, referred to as Green Innovation Managers. It equips them with the competencies needed to set up, animate and sustain green innovation spaces at the local level \u2014 from community engagement and project facilitation to sustainability principles and green entrepreneurship support. <\/p>\n
